Senior logistics consultant having industrial and automation logistics expertise for 15+ years providing specialist support in logistics, operations, and warehouse automation. His main contribution and industry expertise are in cold chain management of food and healthcare products, he has worked with several MNC clients in South Asia supporting 3rd party logistics and setting up logistics operations.
A self-motivated, High achiever who makes major contributions to end-to-end supply chain management and company strategy creation. He has 37 years of extensive international assignment and working experience in a variety of sectors including Medical devices, Pharmaceuticals, Animal Health( Feeds), FMCG, Telecommunications & Electronics.
Lead faculty with 20+ years of experience in experience in the supply chain, project management, training, and academia. His responsibilities include both warehousing and logistics operations and internal auditing. He has worked as a project manager and lead for the global logistics HQ in Singapore while his expertise includes working in 3PLs and VOCCs in; Bax Global (later DB Schenker), ST Logistics/LEP International (later Agility Logistics) and Neptune Orient Lines (later CMA CGM), Raymond was exposed to several MNC and SME operations with their time-sensitive and cold chain logistics.
He plays a key role in establishing AASC, to address the needs of aviation and aerospace companies. He is actively involved in consultancy; airline and airport operations, aviation security in dangerous goods handling, supply chain strategies, airfreight center, and cool port operations. His best practices include handling dangerous goods from the UK, USA, and Japan into Taiwan, China, Korea, and Singapore. Also Holds a Ph.D. and MPhil from SUSS.
Holds 12+ years of experience in leading logistics companies to improve productivity and reduce delivery costs of time-critical spare parts in the aftermarket via air transport. He is the lead instructor and facilitator at SUSS, he mentors students in Lean Six Sigma certification projects at leading companies such as dnata (Ground Handling and Cargo Services), and SAESL (Joint venture between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company). He is also a co-author of “Managing Logistics and Supply Chain Challenges Singapore Insights and Perspectives” published by SUSS.
He holds 20+ years of experience in DG supply chain working across various functions globally, His expertise includes multi-modal transportation in air/sea/land/rail, customer demand-supply planning, warehousing, and international customs & trade regulatory compliance. Academically specializes in Supply Chain and Procurement with an in-depth knowledge and interests in integrated supply chain management. Vocationally, he is a trained and certified IMDG and IATA practitioner, Also a chartered member of CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport) and holds a Certified Practitioner in Purchasing & Logistics with the World Certification Institute (USA).
A passionate expert with 18 years of experience in supply chains. He is a multicultural professional with exposure, and he beholds an excellent diversity skillset to drive change management in global organizations towards operational excellence. He has expertise in Procurement & Aviation Logistics subject matter. He has also won awards for innovative solutions for Cloud-based T&E apps. Holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS).
