Course Overview: 

The course intends to make the students observe and describe visual qualities that characterize the genres of photographic images; develop proficiency in handling tools related to photographic print; and interpret the meanings of artistic works in photography. Overall the students will improve their picture-taking skills by taking different genres of photographs and techniques required to understand and operate the camera.

Instructor Information:

Faculty of Photography, with Ph.D. / master’s in visual/mass communication with expertise & experience of a minimum of 5 years in any one of the photographic genres. 

Course Format:

Live workshop, hands-on learning, MCQ assessments, and submissions.

5 hours a day, on three Sundays, in September.

They will receive the Certificate in Genres of Photography.

Prerequisites:

Students must have completed levels 1, 2 & 3 of the Professional Certificate Course in Photography i.e. must have completed the Certificate in Fundamentals of Photography, Certificate in Lighting Principles for Photography, and Certificate in Framing & Composition in Photography.
